The Lower Snake River dams have paid for themselves many times over and provide power 24 hours a day, unlike other forms of energy production which rely on forces outside of our control. We need to keep moving forward, not backward. Do not remove the dams.

-Wade E., Idaho

Hydropower is clean, reliable power that does not need to be replaced by unreliable wind or solar power. The sun doesn’t always shine and the wind doesn’t always blow. The cost of removing them will put many in the position of paying electric bills or putting food on the table. We must hold onto our clean, reliable hydropower.

-Susan K., Oregon

The Lower Snake River dams provide many benefits, including reliable, clean energy, jobs and recreation. I am for leaving them alone and enjoying the benefits they provide to the Northwest!
